Corey's World

On the left is Me in January of 2009 at 397 LBS on the Right is me on June 26th 2011 at 197 LBS.
If you look at the photo on the left, you can see that I am wearing something under my singlet. Yes, I am wearing two solar belts to help me keep my stomach in.
Now time for a bit of a rant. I don’t want to come across as hating, but this needs to be said. There is a photo that is going around showing women of all different shapes that are athletes. The photo says something to the nature that fit comes in all shapes and sizes or something like that. Sure, you are right, Because everything takes a different fitness level. At 400 LBS and being a pro wrestler, I was fit for my sport. I could wrestle an hour long match and still have gas to go even longer, I had wrestled in 100 degree temps and 26 degree temps and never once had any issues. I was in “Ring” shape. I was far from healthy. I was able to do a standing backflip and land on my feet at 400 LBS. So yes, I was fit for my sport, again, far from healthy.
This picture floating around shows a morbidly obese woman that is an olympic power lifter. She is fit for her sport, She is still morbidly obese and far from healthy. Yes, fit does come in many shapes and sizes. The goal is not to be just fit, but to be healthy.
